Intermittent rains in the city and surrounding areas since Monday morning derailed the daily routine of the people. Due to the rain, people had to stay at one place for half an hour each. Due to this the work of the people was affected. The city was already waterlogged and the second day’s rain worsened the situation.

The level of water-logging increased on the main roads and in the premises of government offices. The situation of water logging and filth remained all around the city. People had to leave only through dirty water. The rain exposed the claims of the municipal administration regarding cleanliness. People got relief from the heat due to the rain, but the situation worsened due to waterlogging. The routine was affected throughout the day. The weather has turned pleasant with the onset of rains. Intermittent bright sunshine created a humid atmosphere, but after that the rain loosened the heat. Due to the rain, people were worried about their important works. There was a waterlogged situation in the city.

Most of the areas were waterlogged and dirty. Due to water-logging in the streets and mohallas, people had to face problems in movement. People came out of their houses only for essential works. The movement of customers in the markets was also disrupted, while work in government offices was also affected. Due to rain, City Post Office Street, Mursan Gate, Lala Ka Nagla, Celt Tax Office Street, Kanchan Nagar, Saraswati Degree College Street, State Bank Colony, Mohanganj, Lala Ka Nagla, Srinagar, Kailash Nagar, Nagla Tandula, Water-logging occurred at many places including BH Oil Mill Road, Mohanganj.

Shiva devotees reached the temples through dirty water. Devotees of the Gopeshwar Mahadev Temple near the city’s Chaube Wale Mahodav and City Railway Station reached the temple through dirty water.
